Awesome! Can’t wait to see more of them! See where the journey takes them… It’s promissing so far! Also, inspiring words by Jordan… Can we get some words from Lacey & Andrew next time as well as Jordan’s?
Michigan Rock and Roll at The Machine Shop.Music is alive and well in Michigan.Other Eyes also put ibn a great show warming the crowd up for The Lows and Pop Evil. The Lows high energy show left the crowd wanting more and Pop Evil gave it to us.Great show at a great rock and roll venue.
Wow Kirstine, excellent photos you took at this show! Really enjoyed seeing them. We saw the Leftoverture tour in August and we’re not on the schedule for the Point of Know Return tour, but I sure wish we were. Thanks again for the great pics!
Great piece with lots of insight from you and responses from Taylor.
Hanson have such a fantastic story to tell and a wonderful record in terms of their passion for music and integrity as professionals. String Theory marks the journeys of so many fans and it is a fantastic celebration. Thanks for bringing so much of that to light in this piece.
Great pics to along with a great review. Loved the show. Have been enjoying Davy Knowel since seeing him years ago at Buddy Guys. Loved seeing him perform with Rory Gallagher’s band members.
Congratulations! Without hearing any tone – the fun in Mr. McAvoys eyes and yours shows the music! Please, please, please come to Germany! We will love you!
I’m a lifelong fan of Rory’s and can’t wait to see them next Wednesday night. I would really like to know if there will be like a meet & greet offered. I have a huge amount of respect for Gerry after reading his book “Riding Shotgun”, and would love to have some time to chat with both he and Ted and ask questions.
Wow, awesome review! I’ve seen 3 shows this year! All 3 show’s Scott and the band delivered! He is 5 years sober, healthy, happy and back like a force of nature! Love his new music and pre-ordered my cd already! Space Between The Shadows is his best solo work, I love all these songs so far, I haven’t been this excited for a new album as a whole in a long time! Scott still has it better than ever!
No mention of Staaps phenomenal drummer? What a shame… Dango brings so much energy to that band and keeps it rockin! My husband is a drummer and We were so impressed by him.
You should make it clear that Lawrence Gowan isn’t NOT the voice on all those Styx songs. He’s an imposter. Dennis DeYoung is the original lead singer of Styx and writer of all those songs.
Thanks for the photos and the review. I was there, but we couldn’t see the stage because StubHub screwed us by misrepresenting where the tickets we bought were located.
I flew from Rockford, IL (the band’s hometown, also my hometown!) to see the show! My friends and I got there around 4 pm for the 9 pm show to try to get good spots! I did score (thank you to some nice lady!) a VIP for myself only. That’s cool as I am a diehard fan of over 40 years! My friends understood as I said “see ya!” and moved up by the stage. The show was fantastic! The guys delivered in a big way! It was a night to remember for sure!
Terrific interview. He is such an amazing musician but as much as he says he is not concerned about platitudes he and all of the band richly deserve them . Their session work is amazing, it is actually better than that, they are geniuses, truly remarkable and something to be treasured.
Great Review Abigail. The first review of this album I have seen. Can’t wait to hear the album even more, now that I have read you great review. Many thanks.
Rival sons. Top top band. Should be bigger than they are. Can’t wait for them to come back to UK, this Autumn. (Fall). If you haven’t listened to their recent LP. Feral Roots, go listen. Hellfire it’s good
I remember first concert I went to with Paul at the Aragon!
May 15,1970 Joe Cocker Mad Dogs and Englishmen (filling in for Delaney and Bonnie who cancelled) Smith , and The Flying Burrito Brothers

Clint is the soul of Sevendust. I am kinda disappointed about his solo release. 2020!!!!
Nice write up & photos, Kirstin! Tesla bring it every time!
Big fan of Larkin Poe – Congrats – I see them in Paris next week… I can’t wait.
Great article and photos! Thank you so much – it’s the best review on the June 29th show I’ve seen.

based on the pictures, and the review, you’d think Rick and Robin are the only band members
