Vans Warped Tour Announces 2025 Dates

Vans Warped Tour returns in 2025 to celebrate its 30th anniversary, hitting major cities with presale tickets launching October 24th.

Get ready punk, alternative rock, and emo music lovers! The Vans Warped Tour is making its epic return in 2025 to celebrate its 30th anniversary! Fans have been buzzing across social media for weeks following rumors about a revival, and now we finally have some confirmed dates! This iconic festival will kick off in Washington D.C. on June 14th and 15th at the RFK Campus Festival Grounds. After that, the tour will head to Long Beach, CA, for two days on July 26th and 27th at the Shoreline Waterfront, before wrapping up in Orlando, FL, on November 15th and 16th at the Camping World Stadium Campus. Although the festival is currently set for just these three cities in 2025, show organizer Kevin Lyman has hinted that more dates may be added, suggesting that this could evolve into a new version of the Vans Warped Tour.

The Vans Warped Tour is one of the longest-running and most influential music festivals, creating a vibrant community where fans can meet their favorite bands and rock out together. Since its debut in 1995, featuring acts like Deftones, No Doubt, and Sublime, the tour has showcased legendary artists such as Blink-182, Limp Bizkit, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Pennywise, Bad Religion, NOFX, Godsmack, Sevendust, Cypress Hill, Simple Plan, Sum 41, and Katy Perry, to name just a few. Over the years, more than 1,700 artists have taken the stage during the festival’s initial run from 1995 to 2018, making it a cornerstone of the alternative music scene.

In 2017, show organizer Kevin Lyman announced that the 2018 Vans Warped Tour would be the final run, citing changes in the music landscape, with some bands distancing themselves from the “Warped” label and a noticeable shift away from the sense of community that had been the festival’s heartbeat. However, in 2019, the Warped Tour made a triumphant return with a three-city celebration of its 25th anniversary, reigniting the passion of fans old and new.

Looking ahead to 2025, Lyman spoke with Rolling Stone, stating that he envisions a revival that blends nostalgia with excitement for the future, featuring a lineup of 70 to 100 bands, encompassing both Warped Tour veterans and fresh, emerging artists. To ensure that up-and-coming acts get their moment in the spotlight, Lyman has announced plans for weekly lineup reveals, highlighting everyone from headliners to lesser-known bands who might otherwise go unnoticed in a crowded lineup. This approach aims to create a more inclusive atmosphere, allowing diverse talent to shine and keeping the spirit of the festival alive for both new and longtime fans.

Presale tickets for the 2025 Vans Warped Tour will go live on October 24th at 12 PM EST. Festival-goers can choose between a 2-Day General Admission pass or a 2-Day VIP pass, with prices starting at $149.98 (fees included). One of Lyman’s primary focuses for this year is to keep ticket prices accessible for fans, especially as the costs of festivals and concerts continue to rise. The goal is to create an affordable experience, made possible through the unity of bands coming together as a community and the support of sponsors such as Vans, Ghost, Ernie Ball, HiYo, Beatbox, and 805.

The Vans Warped Tour promises to bring back the excitement and energy that fans have come to love over the years! Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of music, community, and alternative, emo, punk rock culture.
