Twenty One Pilots Announce 2021-2022 Global “TakeØver Tour”

Twenty One Pilots are hitting the road, and will be spending multiple nights in Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta and London.

The tour will begin on September 21st in Denver, CO. The tour will see them perform multiple dates at each city, at multiple venues. These shows will range from rare intimate club performances to large full-scale arena shows.

Twenty One Pilots’ Josh Dun commented, “Wow. We’re playing shows again. I couldn’t visualize taking another break like we did before Trench, but then we were forced to. Live shows coming back is something I think we’ve all really been waiting for, and we can’t wait to see you again soon.”

In order to secure tickets, you need to first register on Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform. Registration is open now until Saturday, June 19th at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Click here for full details and ticket availability.

Twenty One Pilot’s latest album, Scaled and Icy, was released in May and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top “Rock Albums” and “Alternative Albums” charts. It also reached No. 3 on the “Billboard 200” which marks the biggest opening week for a rock album in 2021 so far.

The album was written and largely produced by Tyler Joseph. He used his time in isolation over the past year productively in his home studio. Dun engineered the drums on the album from across the country. It was put together over the course of long-distance virtual sessions and is very reflective of the emotions that so many felt over the tumultuous last year.
