Our team of photographers pick their top ten images from their last twelve months of show coverage for Loud Hailer.
It has been great to see the number of tours that took place throughout 2022 after Covid brought all touring to a halt during the previous years. While some tours happened during 2021, it certainly wasn’t back to pre-covid levels. This year we got to see a marked increase in shows and Loud Hailer was on hand to capture all genres of music and all sizes of bands.
Our Loud Hailer team of photographers had the privilege of capturing artists such as Iron Maiden, Nick Cave, Eric Clapton, The Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, Judas Priest, The Pretty Reckless, and many more.

JEFF ANDERSON
Jeff is our contributor in the Dallas, TX area and he had the pleasure of shooting artists such as Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, and Deftones as well as multiple bands at this year’s So What?! Festival.
ZACH BIRDSONG
Zach shows us where Music City gets its name as he’s covered a variety of shows for Loud Hailer including Halestorm, Foxy Shazam, 311, The Warning, and The Lumineers.
MARY DEVOSHA
Mary covers shows in the Kansas City, MO area and has enjoyed covering the likes of Cheap Trick, Motionless In White, and Ice Nine Kills.
CHUCK MARSHALL
Based in Michigan, Chuck has photographed a variety of artists from Iron Maiden, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Exodus, and Death Angel. Check out his selected top ten photo here:

Jena is also based in Michigan and has enjoyed the photographing the likes of The Flaming Lips, Mercyful Fate, Tegan and Sara, and The Dropkick Murphys this year.

Caroline is one of our Seattle, WA-based contributors and has captured bands such as Nick Cave, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Jane’s Addiction.

Based in the Motor City of Detroit, MI, Gary has photographed a number of shows throughout 2022 such as The Pretty Reckless, Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Amon Amarth.
JESSICA TRAIL
Jessica’s top ten images include Cradle of Filth, Falling In Reverse, and Badflower when they performed in the Detroit, MI area.
KIRSTINE WALTON
Kirstine is based in Chicago and has captured a range of artists ranging from Eric Clapton, Slash, Amanda Shires, Rammstein, and Rage Against the Machine.
TYLER WILLIAMS
Tyler is our Oklahoma-based contributor and his top ten images include bands such as Sepultura, Incubus, Primus, and Lamb Of God.
