Tom Petty Best Of Collection Announced

The Best of Everything will be the first collection to include Tom Petty’s hits with The Heartbreakers, Mudcrutch and his solo work.

The career-spanning collection of Tom Petty‘s hits will be released on November 16 by Geffen Records/UMe. It will include 38 remastered tracks, along with two previously unreleased tracks – the autobiographical “For Real,” as well as an alternate version of the title track, which includes a never-heard before second verse from the 1985 album, Southern Accents which you can hear now here

The Best of Everything will be released on 2-disc CD and digitally from November 16. It will also be released on both black and clear vinyl on December 7. You can pre-order your copy here. The collection will also come with an essay on Tom Petty written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter, director, author and journalist Cameron Crowe.  

This week marks the one year anniversary of Tom Petty’s passing, and this collection will be a celebration of his impressive back catalog that we can continue listening to and loving.
