The Breaks Music Festival Returns to Chicago

Hip-Hop Music Festival, The Breaks, is set to return to Toyota Park in September.

Following on from The Breaks Music Festival‘s successful debut last year, it is returning to Toyota Park on Saturday, September 8. By A Thread Presents The Breaks Vol. II will include both classic hip-hop artists as well as newly emerging emcees.

Wu-Tang Clan, who are currently celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their acclaimed debut, Enter The 36 Chambers, will be performing alongside Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def), Vic Mensa, Talib Kweli and Chicago’s own Twista. There are still more artists to be announced, so watch this space.

The Breaks Producer Chris Triebes says, “Last year’s lineup was met with such enthusiasm, that we saw no option but to do it again, and go bigger. We plan to take it up a notch or five from last year’s first volume, and couldn’t be more excited about the array of talent we have assembled.”
