Steel Panther Show Their Philanthropic Side

As part of #GivingTuesdayNow, Steel Panther is showing off their softer side as they partner with Los Angeles based animal rescue.

Steel Panther has teamed up with Heavenly Pets to set up the Steel Panther All Day Kitty Cam. The camera will broadcast kittens that are available for adoption from the rescue center. You can also donate to help with the costs associated with looking after pets that have been abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During their last tour, Steel Panther invited local animal rescues to come out and collect donations at their shows as part of their Gods Of Pussy Animal Rescue Activation. Since all touring has been placed on hold for the foreseeable future due to the outbreak, they came up with the idea of Kitty Cam instead.

You can access the live-stream of the camera on Steel Panther’s website or by clicking here

With most of us forgetting which day of the week it is during the lockdown, Steel Panther have stepped in with their daily public announcements. Each day, a band member will announce via their social media platforms, what day of the week it is. Today, comedy legend George Lopez recorded a special video for Cinco de Mayo. So far, they’ve also had guest appearances from the likes of Jason Hook of Five Finger Death Punch, Joey Fatone of ‘N Sync, and Scott Ian of Anthrax. So if you find yourself wondering what day of the week it is, just head on over to their Facebook page and they’ll be sure to let you know.

While the Steel Panther boys may not be able to tour just now, they’re certainly keeping themselves busy. They recently released the music video for their latest single, “Let’s Get High Tonight.” You can see the video, which sees the band dressed as a black metal band, a Spanish mariachi band, and a boy band, here:

They also recently announced their latest guitar pedal – The Butthole Burner. The distortion pedal features the same circuit as that used for the infamous Pussy Melter pedal. You can buy the limited-edited pedal for $199.99. If you previously bought the Pussy Melter or the Poontang Boomerang delay pearl, you can get 10% off your purchase using the code “Melter10.” You can pre-order your pedal here.
