After the success of the inaugural one-day festival in 2019, Shoalsfest is making a return in 2021 and this time it’s going to be a two-day event.
After having a year’s hiatus due to Covid, Shoalsfest is back! The 2021 festival will take place at McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama on October 2nd-3rd. At the end of the first ever Shoalsfest in 2019, Jason Isbell said the festival would return, and boy are we glad it is!
Back in 2019, Jason Isbell mentioned that he had always wanted to bring a music festival to the Shoals so the Alabama native did just that. McFarland Park is situated on the banks of the Tennessee River, giving attendees a beautiful view as they enjoy the live music.
Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10am CT. There will also be a local presale taking place on Thursday for those who live in the area.
The 2021 lineup is out now, with Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit headlining both nights. They will be joined by Lucinda Williams, Candi Staton, Amanda Shires, Drive-By Truckers, and more. Check out the lineup here:
If the first Shoalsfest is anything to go by, this is lining up to be a great weekend packed full of live music!
