The eagerly anticipated 2022 edition of Ohana Fest has announced its weekend lineup and will include headliners Stevie Nicks, Eddie Vedder, and P!nk.
Ohana Fest traditionally marks the end of summer and is entering its 6th year of existence at Doheny State Beach. The festival is curated by Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, whose eclectic choices always bring a magic and musical buzz to the quiet Orange County community of Dana Point.
The three-day affair has a huge powerhouse list of talent rivaling any festival in the country large or small. Friday sets the bar high with Stevie Nicks topping the bill, and Khruangbin, Brittany Howard, The Revivalists, Gang Of Youths, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Kohlohe Kai, Cautious Clay, Dope Lemon, Beach Goons, and Habibi in supporting roles.
Saturday’s talent roster shows no sign of retreat. Headlining are Eddie Vedder and the irrepressible Jack White preceded by Billy Strings, Manchester Orchestra, Inhaler, Joy Oladokun, Curtis Harding, Noga Erez, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Y La Bamba, and Chat.
Sunday’s eclectic lineup mix is powered by heavyweights. Topping the final day bill is P!nk, supported by St. Vincent, Dermott Kennedy, Group Love, Broken Social Scene, Bomba Estero, Kevin Morby, Briston Maroney, Madison Cunningham, Devon Gilfillian, and S.G Goodman.
Ohana Fest is one of the smallest festivals on the west coast, but compared to some of the other much larger festivals held in spring and summer Ohana consistently delivers one of the strongest artist lineups each year. With its unbeatable weather and its beautiful beaches, arguably it provides a perfect mix of the So Cal vibe and music unmatched by any other event. That unparalleled environment combined with the involvement of Eddie Vedder steering the curation of the talent lineup has made it possible in six short years that Ohana Fest has quietly but very quickly become one the best festivals in the country.
Festival Co-Founder and 11-time world champion pro surfer Kelly Slater along with Eddie Vedder’s involvement ensure environmental conservation is a big part of Ohana Fest. Along with the two main stages, in previous years at Storytellers Cove festival attendees could find National Geographic photographers, artists, conservationists, and pro surfers all participating in panel discussions. Storytellers Stage also hosts surprise smaller musical performances. The smaller grounds make for smaller crowds and tickets sell quickly. Ohana Fest tickets go on sale to the general public on April 15th, 10:00 AM PST
