After two long years of live streamed shows, Dropkick Murphys announce the return of their St. Patrick’s Day Tour for 2022.The Dropkick Murphys‘ tour will start in Reading, PA on February 21st, 2022 and end in Boston, MA on March 20th. They will be joining forces with the likes of The Bombpops and The Rumjacks for a majority of their dates on the 22-date joyride. Pennywise‘s Jim Lindberg will be making a special guest appearance for the March 20th Boston show, performing in support of his new solo album Songs From the Elkhorn Trail, with a November 19th digital release date.
When the band returned to touring in August of 2021, it was Dropkick’s first live shows since the pandemic began, touring the US with legends Rancid co-headlining Boston To Berkeley II Tour, which also featured stand-out performances at Riot Fest in Chicago, IL and Aftershock in Sacramento, CA.
After Dropkick’s April 2021 release of the band’s tenth studio album Turn Up That Dial, the album hit a fourth consecutive Billboard top 10 debut. Teaming up with 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory (2017), Signed and Sealed in Blood (2013), and Going Out In Style (2011).
