Austin City Limits Announces 2023 Lineup

ACL Festival drops lineups for weekends one and two with Mumford & Sons, Foo Fighters, and Kendrick Lamar leading the charge.

Austin City Limits Music Festival announced its 2023 lineup and it is shaping up to be one the best this festival season. With a diverse mix of rock, hip-hop, folk, and pop, this year’s festival promises to be one of the most exciting and memorable yet. The 22nd annual event at Austin’s Zilker Park will take place over two weekends — Oct. 6-8 and Oct. 13-15

The marquee names as headliners are rock veterans Foo Fighters, continuing their triumphant return to touring after the tragic death of Taylor Hawkins. The Foos are no strangers to the ACL stage. They bring their raw energy and hit-filled catalog, it’s a sure bet Dave Grohl and company will get the crowd fired up and singing along.

Joining them at the top of the bill is Kendrick Lamar, the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper and one of the most influential voices in modern and hip-hop music. Kendrick is known for his electrifying live performances, stage productions, and socially conscious lyrics. He is sure to bring a message of diversity and unity to ACL.

Also on the list of headliners are British folk rockers Mumford and Sons as they continue their 2023 world tour. Mumford and Sons bring their signature blend of banjo, mandolin, and soaring harmonies to the festival. The electronic duo Odesza will provide a dreamy EDM-flavored soundtrack to the evening.

Country legend Shania Twain (weekend one only) will also be continuing her return to touring in 2023, making a rare festival appearance, bringing her catalog of classic hits and infectious energy to the ACL stage. ACL Festival also brings to the stage icons of 90s and 2000s alternative rock, Alanis Morissette and The 1975 (weekend two only). Morissette brings her hugely popular angst-ridden anthems to the stage. The 1975’s glossy synth-pop is sure to be one of the highlights of weekend two.

Finally rounding out the ACL top-line headliners is Irish singer-songwriter Hozier bringing his soulful, bluesy sound to ACL.

ACL will also feature performances from Kali Uchis, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Maggie Rogers, Labrinth, Cigarettes After Sex, Niall Horan, Tove Lo, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Noah Kahan, Lil Yachty, Mt. Joy, The Revivalists, Portugal. The Man, Death Grips, M83, Rina Sawayama, Tash Sultana, Coi Leray, Glorilla, Little Simz, Chromeo, Tegan and Sara, The Breeders, The Walkmen, Suki Waterhouse, Morgan Wade, Jessie Ware, and many more to grace the massive nine-stage affair.
