The Plot In You at The Beacham in Orlando, FL

The Plot In You played The Beacham in Orlando with the Watch The Divide Tour along with openers Banks Arcade, Thornhill, and Holding Absence.

The Australian band Banks Arcade started the night with an entertaining and high-energy set. The crowd gave them quite the welcome, you’d swear they come to Orlando all the time. Banks Arcade has a mixture of genres in their music which gives them a unique sound, which made them a perfect opener for this US tour. Once they ended their set, they gave everyone else on the tour a supportive introduction.

People in line were wearing Thornhill merch before even entering the venue. Even though they’re an Australian band, they are very well known here in the US. The crowd was already going wild with excitement before they even took the stage. The circle pits and crowd surfing started immediately after they started their first song. The setlist was a mixture of their most popular songs and it gave everyone who knew the songs the chance to sing and scream along with each other. Thornhill didn’t disappoint and got everybody hyped for the headliner.

UK’s Holding Absence came out, causing the sea of people to erupt in screams as soon as the lights went up. Lucas Woodland (vocalist) ran out with wild energy something he’s known for. The audience’s attention was captivated almost immediately by his kicks, jumps, and great vocals. By the end of their set, people in the crowd were talking about how they drove from Tampa and Saint Petersburgh for this all because of the Holding Absence and The Plot In You

Finally, it was time and the lights went down and suddenly the drum kicks hit as The Plot In You took the stage. The band played a mix of older and newer songs. Their setlist consisted of fifteen songs, along with a captivating light show. The venue does have a no-crowd surfing rule, however, that’s overlooked for bands like the Plot In You. The crowd was packed from the stage barrier to the back of the room by the front of house. You couldn’t take a step without seeing two or three people being tossed up and surfing to the front, some even getting high-fives from Landon Tewers. Before the band was even off the stage, the room was chanting one more song repeatedly. The band stepped back out to give us the final song and fan favorite “FEEL NOTHING” from their 2018 album DISPOSE.

As the crowd ventured out of the venue, you heard talks among them about how it was worth standing in the rain waiting for the doors to open. The Plot In You never lets its fans down, always putting on an amazing performance. The tour is in the US until May 13th, so check out the dates and see if they’re coming near you!
