DJ Logic‘s opening set was a masterclass in genre fusion, creating a soundscape that was both innovative and immersive. His set opened with a blend of ambient electronic beats layered with jazz riffs, setting a mesmerizing tone. As the night progressed, DJ Logic skillfully incorporated elements of hip-hop and funk. His turntable skills were impeccable, with flawless transitions that kept the momentum going throughout the performance, making an unforgettable start to the night.

The night kicked off with the upbeat “Sway” and “Heaven,” a perfect start that set the tone for the rest of the concert. Lead singer Michael Fitzpatrick, known as “Fitz,” was in his element, engaging the audience with his dynamic stage presence. The band’s tight musicianship was on full display throughout the night. Drummer Blair Sinta and saxophonist/guitarist James King laid down solid grooves that had the audience dancing from start to finish. Jeremy Ruzumna’s keyboard riffs and Joseph Karnes’ bass lines added layers of depth and complexity to the band’s sound. The production was top-notch, with vibrant lighting and a colorful backdrop that added to the festive mood. Fitz and The Tantrums made sure to include crowd favorites like “Out of My League” and “I Just Wanna Shine,” and even threw in a fantastic cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” The high point of the night came during their finale performance of “HandClap,” where the crowd erupted into a frenzy, dancing and clapping along with the band.

The night ended on a high note with the appearance of the renowned bassist Brady Watt who joined the band for an amazing encore performance of “Gonna Be Me,” and a cover of The Band’s “The Weight.” DJ Logic joined the fray for “Anyway” and “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker.” Fitz and The Tantrums even joined the stage for a killer finale of Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” a fan favorite that brought the crowd’s energy to its peak, creating a memorable conclusion to a fantastic show.
