Noah Hicks at The Grainery in Plain City, OH

Trae Myers and Noah Hicks had their fans on their feet for a night of country music at The Grainery in Plain City, Ohio.

Trae Myers and his band are new to the country music scene and shared how they’re a group of buddies who are getting the opportunity to do what they love together. This show was special to the venue because Trae and his bandmates are relatively local being from Ohio and Kentucky. Trae and his band had the crowd warmed up for Noah Hicks by playing their original “What About You,” along with some popular hits that everyone enjoyed. Trae had a laid-back aura that came across open and welcoming. After their set, Trae and his bandmates stayed back for Noah’s show and interacted with fans by shaking hands and chatting.

One word that would best describe Noah Hicks performance at the Grainery would be energetic. The band did a phenomenal job at getting people excited for Noah’s entrance by playing some upbeat runs. Noah entered the show with tons of energy, running out and greeting eager fans with handshakes and all smiles. Noah started the show with some originals and crowd favorites that everyone knew.

Despite still being relatively new to the country music scene, only starting in 2018 with his “Raised on the Radio” single, Noah really knows how to hype up a crowd and is fun to watch preform on stage. What really made Noah’s show entertaining was his ability to work the stage by interacting with fans and vibing with his bandmates. It’s apparent that Noah and his band are doing what they love. Noah kicked off the night with his original songs “Miss You Back,” “Drinking in a College Town,” “Raised on the Radio,” and “I Can Tell You’re Small Town.” Fans were having a great time and are sure to be humming these catchy songs in the future.

New and upcoming artists frequently play cover songs from popular artists and Noah started the night out right by choosing two popular favorites, “Get Me Some of That” by Thomas Rhett and “Dirt on my Boots” by Jon Pardi. Noah had a great mix of original and cover songs in his set. The band and Noah did a great job at making these cover songs their own by putting their own artistic flares on them.

Overall, the energy from Noah and his band was contagious. It’s hard to watch a band doing what they love and not inheriting some of that energy yourself. Noah sounds just as great live as he does in his recordings. The one thing that makes his performances even better than his recordings is getting to watch his contagious energy and his love for country music live.
